This month Beckys theme is bright. How could I not post the bright little solar powered bee lights that are on the caravan veranda before we left. They were my birthday present from a work colleague and I just think that they are so cute.
The colour for March on Cee’s midweek madness challenge is orange so here are just some of the photographs I have found.
Orange hay bales ready for Halloween
Burnt orange of our car on a rainy afternoon at the caravan
Splashes of orange on the butterfly sitting in the sun
Orange sunrise at the caravan
Orange cross stitch Nemo for Love quilts UK
Orange stone in the Liverpool Mountain sculpture at Royal Albert Dock Liverpool
Handmade orange earwarmers/headband to send to my post pal at Christmas
For the Lens artist challenge this week Ann-Christine at Leya is asking us to pick a word (or more than one) from the following and illustrate it:
This one is a photograph of my little lemon seedlings. I decided that I would plant the seeds from Mr H’s lemon a few weeks ago that he had removed from the lemon to have some lemon flavoured water.
My black embroidery floss is just a little bit tangled, hopefully, it won’t take long to untangle.
For crowded I have gone back to a photograph from August 2013, this was taken at Sefton Park in Liverpool during the Liverpool music festival for that year. This was a free concert in the park by the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, with lots of well known classical music from films, etc. It was a fabulous event with people sitting on picnic blankets or foldable chairs and having picnics while listening to the music and ended with a fabulous fire work display.
This photograph is Charlie dog again having a fabulous time chasing his mini tennis ball.
Today for photo a day the inspiration is fog.
There has been a couple of instances of fog lately. Below are some foggy photographs from the caravan.
My picture taken tonight I thought would be ideal for Dutch how’s the photo’s Tuesday photo challenge which this week is tree or trees. We where just getting ready to leave the caravan for the weekend and looked out the window to see a fabulous photo opportunity.
So this is todays photograph for City sonenets photo a day which is looking down. This is me looking down the chicken at the caravan park that decided to come and visit us today.
So far this Saturday morning both Mr H and I have both been up early this morning. While Mr H has a little rest I am also having a lazy Saturday morning while I finish off cross-stitching my little zebra foal ready go off to love quilts UK.
It’s nearly there now with just one leg to go and the 2 front hooves. While I am busy sewing little Charlie dog has decided he would keep me company.
